After an awesome time in Revo Penang, another group of 19 Revo ambassadors headed for the “Land Beneath The Wind”- Kota Kinabalu, Sabah! Being the furthest among all the tours, it was certainly an exciting time for both the Revo team and the young people of KK!

Revo kicked off in KK with a lunch with pastors at Kyrugma House, BCCM. Here, the vision God had given to Pastor Kenneth to reach out to the young people of Malaysia was shared to the pastors representing different churches in KK. This was made possible with the joining of hands with Lighthouse215, a partnership of churches within KK that is sowing into the young people of KK. The dream of raising up 100,000 youth leaders by 2020 was echoed throughout the lunch meeting, garnering further excitement towards the Revo Party in the evening!

“We're aiming for unity and giving unity an aim.” – Pr Kenneth Chin, on the vision of Dream Malaysia

The presence of God was so evident and tangible over the two-day ‘actsperience’ at Yayasan Sabah Auditorium. A crowd made up of over 800 young people from various churches came to rally around the vision of creating a revolution of change in Malaysia. The crowd went wild as the Revo Team led the people into an “out-of-this-world” time of praise and worship, featuring home-birthed songs from “The Actsperiment”, which will be launched at the Revolution Conference ’08.

Pastor Kenneth did it again as he challenged the young people of KK to rise up and be “dangerous” people of God. Young people who would stand up to the status quo and make a difference for their generation and the next. Altar calls were packed with of over 200 people and 23 of them gave their lives to Jesus for the very first time!

At the Revo Academy in Skyline SIB, Elder Kien Yiak and Pastor Sandra Chin shared passionately to about 50 young people on being a disciple of God, challenging them to set upon higher things of God rather than just “enough”. This followed a fruitful time of “Dialogue with Parents” where about 30 parents and pastors exchanged thoughts on bridging the gap between generations. Pastor Kenneth also underlined the need for young people to be challenged, to grow in responsibilities and maturity with the guidance of youth leaders and pastors, TOGETHER with parents.

It was certainly a life-changing time for the young people here as Revolution Tour Kota Kinabalu was said to have paved the way for younger generation to rise up and be an influence! It was a glimpse of how things are happening all over Malaysia to show that indeed, ALL things are possible with God. Unity among churches, a better future for the next generation and one vision in mind… DREAM Malaysia, it’s POSSIBLE!
