Pr. Sam is the Pastor and Founder of Excel Point Community Church, a thriving church in Penang, Malaysia. He and his wife, Susie both graduated from Christ For The Nation (CFNI), Bible College, Dallas, Texas. Pr Sam also graduated from the Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary with M.A. in Pastoral Studies. He also holds a Bachelor of Theology from Christian Bible College, USA; Bachelor of Science, Southwestern University, Texas and Advanced Diploma in Youth Ministry from CFNI, Dallas Texas in the United States. Pr Sam was a former lecturer at Kolej Damansara Utama. He has been in full time ministry since February 1987. He has served in Reservoir Garden Baptist Church as a Youth, BM and Worship Pastor for several years. Pr. Sam and Susie have two children, Jeremy Sean and Ashley May.
